The 6th Annual Shoot FORE the Stars to Cure Cancer event, for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, was a resounding success. The event, which took place on September 26th, brought together members of the community and corporate sponsors for a day of golfing and fundraising for a worthy cause.
This year’s event surpassed all expectations, well exceeding the $7K originally expected, surpassing last year’s total of $5.6K.
The event was held at the beautiful Wintonbury Hills Golf Course in Bloomfield, CT and saw a great turnout of participants from various companies and organizations. The course was buzzing with energy as teams competed against each other while also coming together for a common cause.
The tournament was followed by a ceremony and dinner, where participants reflected on their contributions and achievements. In addition to the golfing tournament, there were also other ways for attendees to show their support and contribute to the cause. This included a silent auction with various items donated by local businesses, as well as an opportunity for individuals to make monetary donations directly.
