Giving Back in a Special Way: Habitat for Humanity

Volunteering is a great way to give back to the community and make a positive impact on the world. It allows individuals to use their skills, time, and resources for a greater cause. One organization that has been making a significant difference in many communities around the world is Habitat for Humanity.

What is Habitat for Humanity?

Habitat for Humanity is an international nonprofit organization that strives to provide safe and affordable housing to those in need. The organization was founded in 1976 by Millard and Linda Fuller, with the mission of eliminating poverty housing and homelessness.

The organization relies heavily on volunteers to help build homes for low-income families. These volunteers come from all walks of life, including individuals, groups, and even corporations. Habitat for Humanity also partners with local communities and government agencies to identify families in need of housing.

What is Hartsprings Foundation

The Hartsprings Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded in 1997 with the main goal of funding Big Brothers Big Sisters mentoring programs in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Their mission is to provide support and resources for non-profit organizations through various initiatives, such as collecting used clothing and small household items.

Our Lock and Key Realty Charity Golf Tournament 2023

The Second Annual Lock and Key Realty Charity Golf Tournaments was a great success. Pascoe Workforce Solutions was a silver sponsor for the event.  The tournament raised over $22k to benefit the Greater Springfield Habitat for Humanity and Hartsprings Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Big Brothers Big Sisters. This program provides hope to children facing adversity through the power of one-to-one relationships.
